Hope your weekend went well. Its a new week, a fresh opportunity to achieve your goals and be productive.
Hegai & Esther is an indigenous brand that caters for makeup artists tools such as: disposables, makeup cases, chairs, apparel, brushes, books/dvds and of course their brand of gel liners. Recently, they launched a new product which has been the rave of the moment in the social media. They launched the Hegai & Esther Eyebrow Definer in Nubia. Trust the makeup junkie in me not to rest until I laid my hands on this wonder.

H&E Eyebrow Definer comes packed in a white paper cardboard with the product description, company name and company logo all over it.

WHAT H&E SAYS
H&E Eyebrow Definer glides smoothly on the eyebrow giving a vibrant satin finish. It is waterproof, smudge proof and safe to use on the water line. Use brush to pick and apply.
WHAT I THINK
H&E introduced this eyebrow definer in Nubia (a dark brown shade) only. I understand the reason behind this, as most people in our region have dark brown/black brows given our skin colour. This eyebrow definer has a cream gel texture and is highly pigmented.

H&E Eyebrow Definer does exactly what it says,it is water proof and smudge proof. This makes it ideal for brides, rainy days, swimming or long wear. I had a hard time taking it off with just water, I had to use a makeup remover. As with all gel products, the lid of the pot should be tightly screwed on, when not in use so the product won't dry out.
Ever since I started using this brow gel, there's been no looking back because it is easy to use. It is not waxy or too heavy. It just gives the right finish.
However, even though we all in this region have brow/dark brown brows, I have encountered a few exceptions in my few years of work. H&E therefore should fill the void by introducing a few other shades of eyebrow definers to suit other brow colours.
WOULD I RECOMMEND?
Of course! Its an indigenous, wonderful product that every pro makeup artist and beauty junkie needs to have in their kit. Good a thing, it will last several months as a little goes a long way.
